Altec’s AT248F Reaches Lights and Signs Industry


The AT248F articulating/telescopic aerial device features a fixed fly boom design for low travel height with a 180-degree platform rotation.

The AT248F is an Articulating Telescopic Aerial Device designed with a corrosion-resistant aluminum body that features a convenient ladder tunnel and long bulb storage compartments. The unit is easily mounted on a 19,500 lb GVWR chassis, so no outriggers are required, making setup at the job site easy. Other standard features, include:
• Working height to 48.6 ft
• Maximum side reach to 28.5 ft
• 180-degree platform rotator for minimal re-positioning of the chassis at job site
• Safe and easy tail shelf and platform entry
• Fixed fly boom design for low travel height and job site maneuverability
• Convenient lower controls
• Internally designed bridge mount pedestal for unobstructed ground level storage
