An EV home charger offers the fastest, most reliable home EV charging, and is installed by a Ford-approved installation provider who can advise on the best type of charger for your needs. These chargers are typically grouped into three categories:

• Value

Offering the lowest up front cost, value chargers are easy to use and good if you want to just plug in and start charging.

• Connected

Control and monitor your charging sessions from your phone, while smart technology give you charging insights about your EV.

• Advanced

With all the features of a connected charger and then some, advanced chargers can be the most sustainable charging option when paired with solar panels. In some situations, like topping up at a friends house, you can use a regular domestic socket to charge your EV. This option is best reserved for occasional use rather than every day.

• An optional domestic socket compatible charging cable is required to enable this functionality on all Ford EVs. Always ensure that socket suitability is checked by a qualified electrician.
